The industry’s leading independent fashion retailers and brands have been crowned at the Boutique Star Awards 2022 held recently at London’s iconic The May Fair Hotel.
A glittering winners’ party took place on Tuesday 8 November hosted by This Morning presenter Hayley Sparkes. The event was attended by over 130 industry insiders and sponsored by British occasionwear brand City Goddess, Danish retail tech company ELISA, Manchester and London trade show Just Around the Corner (JATC) and luxury sustainable brand Naeco.
With 14 categories up for grabs including British Brand of the Year and Lifetime Achievement, the Boutique Star Awards first launched in 2019 to celebrate the vibrant independent fashion retail industry.
This year Moo and Boom took home the award for New Independent of the Year sponsored by City Goddess... And we were thrilled and very overwhelmed. Winning this award has given us such a boost of confidence with only trading for the past 2 years we have received amazing feedback and support from all our customers.
We were chosen by an esteemed judging panel of industry insiders including Young Ideas owner Anne Wright, Wizz & Co founder Wizz Selvey, Bira CEO Andrew Goodacre, fashion agency founder Sally Dawes and Boutique magazine editor Gemma Ward.
